Excellent article. If only there was a way for *every* religious person to know about this awful, ongoing travesty! It is hard for me to picture a person of any religious tradition, thinking it a good idea to deny access to a person’s clergy at the moment of execution. Monstrous!
Thanks for an excellent job of presenting this travesty of justice. Every person of faith in our state, of what ever denomination, should be outraged at such a fundamental denial one of the most basic religious rights - having a spiritual counselor/advisor present in ones last moments this side of what lies beyond. Just another example of the "criminal justice system" failing. I would suggest there is a serious need for legislation to address this matter, however, I am completely persuaded that the "Christian Nationalists" in control of the Mo. General Assembly would never allow such legislation to pass, and probably not even to have a hearing.

Thank you for this article. Just dreadful.
Thanks for excellent and probing analysis of a despicably unjust situation!
