At the start of worship on Sunday morning (Aug. 16), Rev. Cody Sanders gave an announcement that’s not what he typically offers: the congregation had been one of several churches “targeted by undercover Department of Homeland Security infiltration.”
Brian, even though no United Methodist churches are mentioned, I'm going to republish this article on United Methodist Insight because all people of faith need to know their places of worship could be infiltrated as well. As always, I give you full credit and link back to your original post. Thank you for this thorough report on what's happening in Minneapolis.
Thanks! I agree that all of us should be concerned because every house of worship is at risk (& we probably don't actually know the full extent of the spying yet).
