Thanks for a very informative and insightful article about this “Blitz” and its predecessors. As usual, you are right on the mark. One question: perhaps I’ve missed something but do you really want to say only “our young sons” in the first sentence of the final full paragraph? It doesn’t sound like the you I’ve come to appreciate and depend on so much.
