As Vice President J.D. Vance makes the media rounds to promote his new religious memoir, he explained his faith journey and conversion to Catholicism by citing how Samuel L. Jackson’s character in Pulp Fiction responds to a violent encounter.
I concur with Rev. Denker!! Both the Vice-President and Secretary of Defense are embarrassing not only as government officials, but when it comes to their abuse, misuse, ignorance and stupidity of scripture they are embarrassing as "Christians." I will not take the time and space to do my exegesis of the Ezekiel passage (you see, and JD & Pete wouldn't understand, no good Biblical scholar cherry picks a verse out of its context). The more serious issue with Vance and his "religious" views is he is a heartbeat from the presidency and appearing more and more to be the Republican upon who the Trump mantle will be placed. Disconcerting times as we approach the 250th.
Vance is so embarrassing.
Those are such weird things to base your entire religious conversion on... They'll probably find a way to make them into a God's Not Dead movie.
