Thanks for this terrific interview. I so appreciate John Danforth’s wisdom, courage, humility, and compassion.

I understand that “Joe Blow in Missouri” is not an angry, mean, racist person, and that he had his reasons to vote for Trump. Maybe his life wasn’t going too well, and he hoped a change in politics would help. What I don’t understand is why so many “upwardly mobile,” well-informed, raised-in-the-church, community-minded Christians (!) voted for Trump. The man is the very antithesis of all that Jesus embodied.

I admire John Danforth, and pray that he will continue to speak and write boldly. Maybe the blind will see, and the deaf, hear! 🙏

Excellent interview. It's good to know that while the Republican party has lost its moral compass, Danforth has remained steadfast in his values.

Danforth and many others, accused of being RINOs, but really holding to true GOP root values

Danforth's words are encouraging to me. Unfortunately his words have been largely ignored by GOP voters in his state. To them, he is a man whose time has passed and whose views are out-of-date, anachronistic, in comparison to the politics of the Trump GOP in Missouri and D.C.

It is nice to know that the man I campaigned for back in 1968 will attending a MO college is still a man of honor I can support. Thank you.
