Beau, thanks so much for this critical and informative article. I was unaware of this particular aspect of Christian Nationalism (the greatest internal threat to our democracy, we have every faced.) I plan on watching the episodes provided by the link. These promoters of the NAR (not to be confused with the National Association of REALTORS) are at best simply ignorant and misinformed individuals. At the worst, they are intentional purveyors of theological misinformation and garbage. I whole heartedly support and defend the inherent - God Given Right - to read, interpert and apply scripture by each individual - Soul and Bible Freedom. For my fundamentalist acquaintances who believe all of creation was accomplished in 6 - 24 hour days, even though the sun was not created until the "fourth day", I defend their right to so believe. However, it appears to me that the NAR movement is weaponizing and playing extreemly fast and loose with the scriptures to advance nothing less than a intellectually corrupt and fradulent political agenda. I submit, this is a desecration, misinterpretation, and misapplication of the scriptures with the vilest of motives. I am thankful for your and Taylor's efforts to expose this most dangerous ideology.

Listening to how Trump was prophesied to be God's anointed - like Darius - I got a rival since of God's work, which goes back to Ahab (a more Trump like figure) and the lying spirit urging him to take something back that had been taken away from him - Ramoth Gilead (the presidency in Trump's case). In the spirit of Miciah ben Imlah it's time to reveal God's desire to undo Trump and expose the NAR as the false prophetic community that it is.

An interesting comparison might be done to "Baptizing America"- what is new, different, or complementary between these two (of many) treatments of this disturbing and dangerous movement.
