As more than 3,000 people gathered under a revival tent at a church in Batavia, New York, multiple speakers identified a clear enemy: New York Attorney General Letitia James.
Such a powerful and important article. Thank you for continuing to point to the ways in which Christian Nationalism is both a perversion of the Gospel (there's an understatement!) and a real and present danger to our democracy.
Another excellent and insightful article, exposing the danger to our democracy and people of faith, from Christian Nationalism and the politicians who gorge themselves from that trough of slop. Permit a part-time preacher and student of the Hebrew and Christian Scriptures to add one further word. I suggest a fair, honest and studied reading of Ephesians 6:10-17 is incomplete and totally misses the mark, unless the reader (or proclaimer) understand that v. 18 is the key. The battle is not in a political, governmental, or public forum. It is in the ministry of prayer. That is where the armor is to be employed, in my humble reading.
