“I’m not going to talk about basketball.” Steve Kerr, head coach of the Golden State Warriors, had a different topic on his mind than the NBA playoffs when he sat down for his pregame press conference on Tuesday (May 24). “When are we going to do something?” he asked angrily before turning his ire to Sen. Mitch McConnell and other U.S. Senators opposed to legislation to reduce gun violence. “Are you going to put your own desire for power ahead of the lives of our children, and our elderly, and our churchgoers? Because that’s what it looks like.”
